  SSJT, nice to see you in Switzerland. Stayed in Interlaken(West) last August and took the Golden Pass from there to France after a week in Interlaken. Definitely put this place on your bucket list. There is so much to do, and the Swiss are great people. Stay in Interlaken West. Most of the hotels, shops, and restaurants are there, but you can actually walk to Interlaken Ost from there. Ost is important as it's the point of departure for the trips into the mountains. FYI, there is a castle on Lake Thun. Wanted to share the pic I took when cruising the lake, but couldn't figure out how to share it. Hope you're enjoying your trip.

  Firstly, bird droppings are a sign of good luck...if you're so inclined to believe in any of it.  In your case, observing from my vantage point, I'd say it's true.  Your last trips through Switzerland seemed to be so rushed.  The whole vibe of this trip however, seems to be far more relaxing and luxurious.  In fact so relaxing, you FORGOT to EAT!  Secondly, the scenery was right out of my best fairytale dreams!  Thirdly, "Heidi"...🤣🤣🤣...I had the EXACT SAME THOUGHT!🐐
