he who remains (Jonathan Majors character) is basically a variant of Kang the conqueror.
his real name is Nathaniel Richards, he was born in the 31st century (he is a descendant of Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic, leader of the fantastic 4). used several names:
Rama Tut: When he traveled to ancient Egypt he became pharaoh and ruled until he was defeated by the Fantastic 4 (who had traveled to ancient Egypt).
Scarlet Centurion: He created this alias after traveling to the 20th century and meeting Doctor Doom. fought and lost against the avengers
Kang the Conqueror - Nathaniel returned to the future, but accidentally traveled to the 40th century, where he encountered a terrible war. Seeing an opportunity in his technological and strategic knowledge, he assumed the identity of Kang and created an unstoppable army with which he conquered entire galaxies. began to travel through time in order to study and observe his rivals, from his fortress outside the timeline (called Chronopolis)
Immortus: A more experienced and peaceful version of Kang, He had goals completely contrary to Kang's, taking responsibility for his actions, his mission was to prevent the destruction of the natural flow of history.
Iron Lad - A very young version of Kang. Nathaniel was contacted by his future self who showed him his destiny so that young Nathaniel would accept him faster, but seeing what he would become, he traveled to the past to ask the Avengers for help, his attempt was in vain, so (determined to act) created an armor from the remnants of vision adapting it to Kang's suit. fighting alongside the Young Avengers (a group of young superheroes) which was made up of: Wiccan (Billy Maximoff), Speed (Tommy Maximoff), Kate Bishop, Patriot (whose costume is inspired by the one Bucky wore in the war, in the comics), America Chavez, Cassie Lang (Scott Lang/Ant Man's daughter), Kid Loki (Loki's reincarnation) and Hulking (a mix between Krees and Skrulls).

Loki was able to know that the Avengers were time traveling because of the skills he learned from Frigga, since she knew that Thor was from the future.

This series set up the tone for the MCU’s phase four saga.

The reason why Loki knows that the avengers traveled in time is explained in the same scene in which he mentions it. basically because he supposedly felt the colony of two tony starks. but he thought they traveled to the past to prevent him from becoming king

The composer is Natalie Holt. She was just rightfully nominated for an Emmy for her work on Loki.

Me and my friends have a theory about Sylvie's nexus event. We think that her event was that she was going to be too kind to be a Loki. Considering she was playing with a figure of a Valkyrie saving the day, and how she tried to yell for someone to help that one guy when she got to the TVA, it seems plausible.

I love how the costume designers created Silvie's outfit with easy access for her to breastfeed her new baby...it's one of the few bts bits that made me smile and happy that they took the actress in to account as well

Jonathan Majors has been confirmed to play Kang the Conqueror and him in this as He-Who-Remains is a variant of Kang and his line "see you soon" was him saying that we'll see Kang the Conqueror real soon and the statue at the end was Kang
