  calling people who scalp a product targeted at kids &quot;investors&quot; is genuinely funny lmao. not even being a dick. it&apos;s just really funny to me thinking of a comic panel where a little kid with a Pokemon hat, a binder and his mom walk up to a shop at one of the conventions and sees an evolutions booster pack and says &quot;Mommy! can I buy it?&quot; and she reads the price, around 25, and goes &quot;no, 25 is too expensive honey.&quot; and the kid gets mad and says &quot;25?? you could get 5 booster packs for that price!&quot; and the mom goes &quot;I know bud, but this man is an investor, he has to make a profit.&quot;

  Can&apos;t tell you how much I appreciate that you filmed this in a calm and clear voice. Not to throw shade on other creators, but the way they yell into their mics like they&apos;re an MC in a crowded room just isn&apos;t for me.

  When I was 11 years old I got an ETB, but back than I couldn&apos;t notice the difference between real and fake cards. So what happened is I ended up trading one of the rare cards in the ETB for a fake &quot;rare&quot; card, with a kid in my class that also didn&apos;t know the difference between real and fake.

  It&apos;s really sad that pokemon like housing has become some investment tool that children (who it&apos;s for) can&apos;t even afford a booster pack easily

  I wasn&apos;t sure if I wanted to get into Pokemon TCG while the 151 UPC was available at costco for 150$ cad. I finally made my mind up and decided I wanted to jump in since I have been a Pokemon fan for as long as I can remember but sadly the 151 UPC is now 400$ + wish I pulled the trigger early. Not even for resale value but to get a cool started box with everything needed. Plus I&apos;m a Kanto Gen guy

  I just cleared an eviction house and found a box with at least 10,000 cards. some box sets some un-opend packets, some box sets , badges ,a six pack eski with mixed cards written on it, full to the brim , I have a lot learn.
