I've always recommended to people to start with the Crown Zenith set. It's such a great set! The pulls are generous, and the artwork is really good. To be honest, I feel like the Trainer Gallerys - in Crown Z - are so underpriced. Only reason its underpriced is because of the generous pull rate. But anyway, crown zenith is a perfect set to begin your collecting journey. After crown zenith, get into Obsidian Flames, Paldean Fates, and then Brilliant Stars and Silver Tempest. In this order!  Then when you really want to press your luck, Fusion, Lost Origin, and 151.

As someone who was incredibly overwhelmed as heck on where to begin, this was so useful, thanks.

Paradox Rift and Temporal Forces are by far the most underrated sets in the S&V era.

Just decided to get back into it, haven't bought Pokemon stuff since 2012 and everything is scalped like crazy, one of my local Walmarts moved all their Pokemon cards to the front and only allow one pack per customer because when they were in the back everything got stolen, and even so it was cleared out. Really sad that this is the state of friggin Pokemon cards.

I useto collect pokemon cards when I was in primary school so like 25 years ago, now I do house cleanups as a job and found a tub full of Pokemon cards, there'd be thousands of cards in there went through them all organised from rare to basic thought oh yeah Ive hit the jackpot until a mate told me some were fake so went on YouTube looked up how to tell fake cards to real and I believe half of them are fake ended up filling a binder with the real cards and now the addiction has hit 😂😂😂😂 learning more and more everyday and this video has helped alot thanks heaps 🤙 just subscribed you deserve more subscribers 🤙

Thank you for going quick on the last pack - and not turning the moment into like 3 minutes like some other channels 😅

New to collecting and I have to say it is very refreshing to finally see someone with experience in the space provide helpful info instead of just yap or be super negative about the space. Thanks for the video.
