I adopted my cat at 5 years old. He had diabetes and was overweight. I fixed that by changing his diet to mainly meat. <br>He was later diagnosed with Kidney disease I reversed that with adding bone broth, taurine and NAD. Unfortunately he passed away at the age of 13 from a vaccine site tumor. <br>I learned a lot from his experience and now I adopt the overweight senior cats from my local humane society and nurse them into better health. My oldest cat is 19 ❤ I love that you both are bringing this to light! We need to fix the United States

I am soooo beyond ecstatic to see you two chatting together!! I created a health guru list in my notes and you both are on it. I work at Natural Grocers as the vitamin manager & I speak of the both of you often with my customers & of course all of my loved ones & local social media sites. I graduated the veterinary technology program in Kentucky in 1986. We were taught that if kibble is listed as 100% nutritionally complete, (it couldn't label it as nutritionally complete if it wasn't) that's all your pet needs. Nutrition was taught at a minimum. So, this has been going on for a long time. I also went down the path of Apoquel with my last dog. It was a 5-year nightmare and we ended up putting him down at the end. We need to get educated so our pets don't suffer because of ignorance and corporate greed. am so glad I found this to try to help the animals I have now.

Great interview! It was nice hearing someone say the same things I've been saying for years. Wouldn't inject poison for mosquitoes in your children, yet ok for dogs. Here's a piece of knowledge that goes hand and hand with pet food and human food debate. The Guinness world record for oldest living dog was a Australian cattle dog named Bluey. He almost lived 30yrs. He was raised before the commercial pet food industry.
