  Such an intimate moment. She calls him &apos;pipes&apos;. this is a very special address. Warm and full well that she and he know each other. In Highland Regiments the pipe sar&apos;nt major would always be addressed as &apos;PIPES&apos;.

  As an American who was stationed in Edzell, Scotland for 2 years I can easily understand why she wished to spend her last days there. &nbsp;I fell in love with Scotland - the people and scenery are both equally beautiful. I have always loved the bagpipes even before I had the privilege of living in Scotland.

  I watched her funeral as they laid her in state a bagpiper walked through the chapel playing his pipes. It was sad. You may not liked the royal family but you gotta respect a funeral. Especially hers. She&apos;s been the queen since the 50s. &nbsp;She helped during WW2 as an ambulance driver and mechanic with the female armed forces. I cried as that piper walked through the halls of the church she was buried in.
