I was a teenager when I saw the movie Jaws. I am glad the producers had that Captain Quint monologue part in for the educational value even though he got some parts wrong. The actor should have gotten the Academy Award for that.

I had a great uncle that served on the Indianapolis, he was a tuff s.o.b. when I was like 13 I took a house boat on the Mississippi for a week the whole family , he brought this old navy fog horn and it was loud , he ended up talking to me a lil about the navy before he past away but I wish I had recorded it
