Ive gigged in bands for 26 years. We just played Come Together faithful to the original, but we all drop tune guitars to E flat because we are Americans with deeper voices! You have a vocal gift of higher pitch that I can only dream of.

In my opinon, Come Together created an entire new genre in music. Nobody has taken it up yet but it's that unique.

Great demo. I have just caught on to the skill of transposing songs to my most comfortable key. I'm 74, and I can't reach those high notes like I used to. My lower bass voice is still very good. The audience doesn't really care about the key and doesn't even notice. They know the melody, regardless of the key. Knowing how to pick the best key for my voice, plus the easiest chord shapes, are 2 of the best and most valuable skills to have. Thanks for sharing.

When i used to do open mic regularly, my go to Beatles songs were With a Little Help From My Friends, I'm Only Slseping (my personal favourite Beatles song) and Cry Baby Cry, Kirkcaldy being my home town and getting name checked in the song. I'm Looking Through You was one i was working on but I could never quite get it to performance level.

I love how your voice sounds in the original key of "Come Together" and "Saw her standing there" It's a great range for you and I can tell you are capable of it. 😎
