The Transfiguration: What the Original Greek Actually Says.

Only one Gospel writer bothered to tell you what Moses and Elijah were actually saying to Jesus on that mountain. Luke gives you the topic in a single word , and it is not the word most English Bibles print. That one Greek word reframes the entire scene, the cross, and what the Transfiguration was actually for. Most Bible studies on the Transfiguration stop at the light show. Matthew describes the radiance. Mark describes the clothing. Both note that Moses and Elijah were present , then both move on.
