  As a woman who was a stay at home wife for 10 years, got divorced, and is building her life from ground zero in her mid 30s, I don’t recommend this lifestyle

  hi! i did this! dated from 19, got married at 22 relied on him for EVERYTHING, had to ask this man for anything i needed - shampoo, a new toothbrush, a takeaway coffee. it was dehumanising and embarrassing having to ask for every single thing i needed or wanted. it turned toxic and abusive and i felt to guilty to lay boundaries or speak up for myself bc i felt SO indebted to him. and after all that he left me when i was 26 to start dating 18 year olds &lt;3 <br>literally have nothing to my name, had to go back to living with my dad, jobs won’t take me on bc of the employment gap on my resume. please girls, trust me, it is not worth it. it is never worth it for a man.
