  It's a fair point, that's probably the only con for me, the intense humidity. But Malaysia has too many good things going for it.

  I really appreciate how you addressed the not-so-glamorous issues of your one-year stay in Penang so gracefully, even though it didn&apos;t work out for you in the end.<br><br>I grew up in Penang but left decades ago and never looked back. Penang just isn&apos;t for everyone. <br><br>I&apos;ve subscribed to see how your journey develops.   M&apos;sia is hot n humid even for locals and not so cheap, wise to go to where is best value, comfortable and where you&quot;ll find happiness for your family for the long term, best wishes to you &amp; family, ❤❤❤

  thanks for sharing and being so frank. &nbsp;I do agree the heat. &nbsp;I was born malaysia and now in the US. &nbsp;Each time I head home to visit my family, i just cannot stand the heat. &nbsp;But for sure it&apos;s the best place to live and retire. &nbsp;all the best to ur family where ever you decided to plant ur roots.
