I'm convinced that Radio Shack, at least in part, inspired more than one generation of future engineers.

The best part was the manual. It started you out by wiring by numbers, and then around project 20 or so it changed over to real schematics.

Literally started by passion and career. Had the 50-in-1, the 150-in-1 and that same 200-in-1

I used to have one of these. My absolute favorite toy as a kid. So, so many hours on this.

I’m an electrical engineer now.

These are great things for getting kids (and adults) interested in electronics and a basic understanding of components. I love how almost immediately two grown men become excited children within a few minutes of playing with the RadioShack electronics kit!

They need to bring these back. I absolutely loved these as a kid. These gave me my foundational understanding of reading wiring diagrams on airplanes.

Changed my life!! I got one in the mid-70’s at 11 years old, with a wood cabinet. I had a 39-year career as a satellite engineer. Thanks Radio Shack!!

RadioShack had the absolute coolest stuff!! 😊

We lived next to the RadioShack West Coast Distribution Center in West Garden Grove in the 80s.

They. Had. EVERYTHING!!

The staff would let me come play all afternoon on one of their many TRS-80 PCs …and they taught me and my friend BASIC. ❤

My brother and I would dumpster dive and find absolute treasures!!! You would not believe what got thrown away. 😮

My dad could fix anything and fix everything he did!! 😊

Thank you, RadioShack
