I personally consider a challenge impossible if the only way to beat it is to rely on RNG heavy solution.

I love USUM so much just because of how sometimes it’s the easiest thing ever and other times there’s this 💀

Hearing "I hate Alola" was funny because "I love Alola" is a pretty common term for me (username doesn't help lmao).

i believe if you evolve cubone in an ultra wormhole it'll evolve into regular marowak

Since eggs met location are based on where they're are hatched you could have gotten a kanto diglett by breeding yours while holding an everstone.
And in Ultra Space you could have evolved Cubone since you're no longer in alola.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that the naming theme was Bob the Builder characters. Only noticing when you listed your team for the E4

I did this in ultra moon as just a mono type run not a nuzlocke and it was Pain.

There is an argument to be made that if you're swapping your starter it should be something otherwise unobtainable. Starters arent obtainable elsewhere in the games and serve as a free pokemon slot that doesnt effect your other encounter tables, at least when you're playing runs the starters are valid for, so to keep the balance every alt type run should have a starter whose a free encounter rather than your first available one. For EX if you start Gold with a Chikorita you can also get a Bellsprout before the first gym, but if you starter swap to a pidgey for a flying type run you lose your pidgey encounter. To keep it balanced with the nature of how starters function a Gold flying type starter should be something you cant normally encounter like a Skarmory since its a Silver exclusive.

I've theorised about this run in my head for a while, so it's awesome to finally see someone attempt this!! The sheer prospect of doing a large chunk of the alola early game with a single alolan diglett is so perfectly difficult it was tantalising to me LMAO, and a lot of the run before ula ula is also perfectly geared to making ground types suffer. fantastic run all around! you actually did a lot of strategies i considered too :D
