1. Avoid industry fake news and censorship<br>2. Head grade, drilling intersections, and metallurgy<br>3. Jurisdiction is very important<br>4. Avoid lifestyle companies<br>5. Go where the market is hot<br>6. Go where there is value add<br>7. Take massive degenerate bets (just not the house or leverage, and outside capital is subjective)<br>8. The stock price can always go lower<br>9. Do not get emotional about stocks. Take the dog behind the barn and shoot it<br>10. Management track record and skin in the game<br>11. Most people in the industry are deceitful in one way or another<br>12. BOD are useless and watch out for senior management lying to the uninitiated. <br>13. Watch out for cronyism and nepotism<br>14. Be aware massive fortunes can come with losses<br>15. Take profit to become carry free and move on<br>16. Opportunity cost, holding period, and expected return<br><br>Lastly: Trust but verify

Last year I bought Westgold, then it dipped 20%. The Company hadn't deteriorated, so I bought more. Now up over 100%. If I didnt research it myself and formed CONVICTION, then I would have likely sold for a loss..<br><br>I was buying their future potential of 500kozpa within a long-term gold bull market.
