  People think they want Led Zeppelin to reunite.  What they REALLY want is for John Bonham to be alive again and for it to be 1971.  Same idea holds true for other bands.

  Robert Plant was never a cliche. He was spontaneous, in-the-moment, a force of nature. Still is.

  Plant never would allow himself to become strictly a nostalgic act. As he said, “there’s a past and there’s a future.” He chose the right time to live in.

  67 years old here. I still have all my LZ albums that I bought as a young drummer excited to try and emulate Bonzo. ( Yeah, right) I saved my paper route money and my Dad drove me to the record store ( remember those ?) to buy their latest release. STILL listening to Zepp.  Greatest band ever.

  Somebody has to be the #1 rock idol for their time, and Robert just happened to be it. He changed not only modern music but he defined stardom forever.

  Imagine always being known as the person you were based on the job you had at 21. <br><br>No matter the other jobs you had over the course of your life, no matter your other accomplishments, you’re always known as the guy who worked in that one job at 21. <br><br>For years I never understood Robert’s reluctance to reminisce about zeppelin. Eventually I came to understand it.<br><br>And if I’d lost a child, you can bet I’d never be the same and likely walk away from the life I had.

  He is a different soul than any of his formers or those that follow. He so, so in touch with who he was, who he is, and still, at his age now, who he still wants to be. He&apos;s the greatest with or without Led Zeppelin.. We love him with both..

  Plant didn’t want Zeppelin to be his “I peaked in high school” ahh moment of his career. Even though it was (for all of them). Nobody could possibly top Zeppelin. Even Zeppelin couldn’t top Zeppelin.

  We can&apos;t expect the members of Led Zeppelin to remain the same as in the early days! People change and grow in wisdom! Robert Plant remains humble and still sings now in 2025! Still his voice is strong.

  I still listen to Led Zeppelin today. And they are still played on every radio station and in clubs and bars to this day! &nbsp;How many bands can say that? &nbsp;A few, but those are the great ones, just like Zeppelin!
