  There are more than 8 billion people in the world. Nowadays it really feels as they are all traveling exactly the same day as me 🤣

  When I visited Mt. Rushmore in the early 90's, it was pretty spacious and not overcrowded. I do remember the monument being smaller in person, but the surrounding countryside was beautiful, and it was easy to come and go.

  We always visit off peak season so this is probably why we had better experiences in many of the places named

  Seeing this I congratulate myself on having seen many of these sights many decades ago. My advice: travel out of season.

  Everywhere I went, ….Paris, Barcelona, Egypt, Santorini, Venice, Rome, Marrakech, Istanbul…solo…it was fabulous…travelling is not for faint hearted 😊

  I always enjoy visiting the Canadian Niagara Falls. It is a beautiful park, and there is a lot to see there.

  My number one regret was Disney. Florida or California they just want you to buy stuff while waiting the impossible lines

  As someone who has traveled for over 60 years, I can safely say that going to &quot;tourist destinations&quot; is usually the biggest disappointment in my travel history. &nbsp;Years ago, I stopped going to tourist traps and focus on cities with as few tourists as possible. &nbsp;Its usually a much nicer trip and a lot less hectic. &nbsp;I live in a place that is a tourist destination and I hate the environment it can create.
