  If Zahi Hawas was involved in ANY dig... Then I can assure you,not only was there more than 22 coffins,but the "Looting,in some ancient past" was far more recent then anyone would care to risk their career/life,to admit. Kinda like a situation,where on day 1,everyone clearly sees 36 coffins... then on day 2,everyone looks at Hawas,with clear WTF MAN.... AGAIN?? ...not surprised looks on their faces. Egyptology will be a respectable field again,with real discoveries,once the King  Of Pharaoh Thieves, is gone.... Unless he manages to finish selling the rest,to Hollywood Stars, Financial tycoons ,eccentric private collectors,etc,etc,before then. That guy would sell the Great Pyramids... block by block,if he thought he could get away with it.... Sorry for the rant.

  Note: this was the Alexandria on the Tigris, NOT the Alexandria of ancient Egypt.  Alexander created many "Alexandrias".

  Just imagine how crazy this is, we keep on discovering more and more historic artifacts and discoveries while we are moving forward with new inventions and new discoveries. But the question, are we really improving?

  I had a friendly gator in my pond. We never spoke , but he did make a few assorted noises. <br> &nbsp; He was pretty mellow. &nbsp; The pond dried up , he moved on. &nbsp; I miss him.

  The Zapotec tomb&apos;s owl figure looks more like a depiction of a Harpy eagle.

  regarding the Zapotec owl, I submit that it may not be an owl but rather a Harpy Eagle. The resemblance to the eagle is uncany if you see the bird.

  I never once thought Doggerland to be bare &amp; it&apos;s crazy to hear that other people actually did lol You have prime, lush countryside all throughout France&apos;s rolling landscape, so it would only make sense that Doggerland was the same. This may be me, but we need to audit whomever registers a species as extinct, or at the very least, change the labeling to Undetermined. Thinking a species of tree went extinct 400,000 years ago only to find biological evidence in mud, under a fucking sea, that it thrived long after must&apos;ve been a huge slap in the face for whomever determined that classification lol I bet the communities that lived in Doggerland had such a bountiful life with resources.
