Subtle things I like about this episode:<br>Nice defined roles:<br>Phil outlining how to dig and where, and Mick backs it up <br>That's how it's got to be done. (He's doing the work... He'll know)<br>Carenza leading the villagers.. 20 years on and she's still Queen of the test pits.<br>Matt quietly guiding the village youth and what their finding, the relationship of the wall to the street and practical knowledge why they would dig there.<br>(He digs AND instructs) that made his "host" dig of St Albans 2025 a great watch.<br><br>Racsha and Bridget.. <br>So many.. great people<br>all with amazing strengths.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCOFSRhFcAM&t=130">2:10</a> Point Clear on the right of the estuary spent every weekend from March to October and half the summer from 1974 until 1986, my Nan had a bungalow, drove through St. Osyth to get there and also to get into Clacton-on-sea or Jaywick to visit my cousins. Happy, Happy days! 🥹

we have been coming to Osyth and point clear every week for 30 + years It is a fantastic place full of history. but parts of this episode seem to be cutout
