  I'd honestly say that while Stephen Curry is very skillful. He's also genuinely the most talented in a single area we've ever seen. This dude didn't just get there when he got to the NBA because that's when he was his most skilled. He was capable of busting that shot from as deep as he wanted before he got to College.

  Talent without skill is unreliable. On the other hand, you can lean on your skillset all the time. Both of these things are perishable if not maintained or cultivated. The thing about skill is that it is accessible to everyone while talent is something that a select few is given which is why I respect skillful people a whole lot more than talented people. Skill is born out of hard work while talent is something you did not earn for it was given to you.

  Talent is the pre requisite, skill or development through hard work is the seperator. You dont make a pro sport without any talent, but you dont make the hof without added skill. If I only get to choose one, ig i would choose talent bc ben simmons still has a job somehow lol
