  Ive been using the FireMaple burner to heat my coffee during two treks in Alaska (two weeks each). &nbsp;It does so super fast! I bought the Soto Fusion to have to have a backup.

  Many thanks for an excellent review- I just ordered a Soto Fusion Trek after watching! I have owned, used a multitude of stoves over the years, mostly for work and on expeditions but also for leisure and two things always baffles me:<br>- No one seems capable of making the perfect stove. Either you can´t properly fit it in the pot (Reactor..), or you can´t easily release the pressure (Any MSR) or you can´t easily clean it (Omnilite...) or you can trip an internal safety thing that makes it inoperable (Windburner) or the piezo is gauranteed to stop working (Jetboil).<br>- Reviews often focus solely on boiling time. I always try to take set up into consideration as well- It is the total time you spend , from putting your backpack down to melt snow or boil water to putting everything away, lifting up your backpack to get going. So a liquid fuel stove might have a shorter boiltime but the total time with connecting everything, pre heating, boiling and disconnecting everything without getting gas everywhere might be quite a long process...<br><br>Soto looks promising on many accounts. Thanks again for the review!
