Well said! Too many people will do something like 3 x 15 pushups and declare themselves too advanced... One workout I've found to be pretty productive is to just do 100 pushups, without getting up, rest is in plank or downward dog, but no knees on ground. This should be doable for anyone capable of more than 30 unbroken reps, and in practice becomes a high rep set with like 10 - 20 rest pause sets after. It sounds stupid, but it works!

I guarantee anyone that does a 100 push ups everyday and stays consistent will be stronger than most people in a standard gym.

Facts bro.💯💯💯. Great video. Every fitness trainers who say that calisthenics won't work must need to watch this video. High volume calisthenics is the best way for bodyweight bodybuilding. It is the best and optimal way for peoples who want to build their body with only strict bodyweight training. We don't need to go to gym and we can save gym fees. What we really need is a pair of gymnastics rings or pull up bar and dip bar. If we choose gymnastics rings then that is enough. But if we choose to buy a pull up bar then we need to buy a dip bar too. But for legs little bit of weighted calisthenics can be good. It is because our lower body is handling the weight of our upper body all the time. We don't need heavy weights, but we need light weights,upto(30-50) Kg. This much weight can be affordable to everyone . So we can train legs with high volume weighted calisthenics. For upper body training we don't need any weights at all, but for legs we need a little bit of weighted calisthenics. Technically we can train leg with strict body weight but it will take time to complete the workout. It is based on my experience. Overall, high volume calisthenics is underrated. It is not only optimal for building muscle, it will also rewards us with better conditioning and also it will even build strength. 💯💯💯. And also peoples who believe in certain rep ranges for building muscle they don't know henemans size principle and muscle physiology. If we do crazy high repetitions our body first uses slow twitch muscle fibres( muscles which are used for endurance) and after the slow twitch muscle fibres get fatigued our body have no other choice to recruit fast twitch muscle fibres. Fast twitch muscle fibres are responsible for muscle growth and strength. This is the way it works. Great video bro.💯💯💪💪🔥🔥🫂🫂

Great video man! I remember one of the first calisthenics workout routines I followed was the Recommended Routine many years ago. After 6 months of training or so, I thought I’d mastered push ups and pull ups because I could do 3x8, yet my maxes were 20 and 12, respectively lol. I’m so glad I switched!

I've realized when I do low reps is stagnate very fast. My body keeps improving when I train for high reps much more than with low reps.

I’m all for that but I mix it in with strength days where I do weights. I noticed that I had the endurance but no strength when doing high volume.

A regular person can barely do 5 clean full form pull ups or dips. Imagine if they could hit 30 reps clean and hitting failure within that rep range. Now imagine weighted while hitting failure at even 8-15 reps, high rep calisthenics even beyond 30 reps has great benefit both for muscle building and vascularity development

Yesterday I did my first EMOM (every minute on the minute). First minute pull ups until failure and then pause till end of the minute, second minute pullups till failure and pause until end of the minute… after 25 minutes I had enough. Great feeling today, new kind of soreness 😅 after recovery I will do this again. Maybe longer. Same with dips. High volume feels to be a powerful tool for building mass and stamina.

Hey, thanks for the video ! I didn't know about the 4 rest pauses in sets and will definitely use it. How many days per week should I workout applying the high volume method ?
