  If you use a max upgraded kuku flame-resistant armour and white lion necklace you could also get lv 14 crit without any abyss gears

  When you do youre R1 Combo and the shockwave come out press the Triangle Botton to use youre abyss gear again to send another wave out<br><br>You cam even combo<br>R2-R2-R1-Triangle<br><br>In this you get the after Images from the Heavy attack, you activate youre Abyss Gear (since the only trigger on the third Hit anyway) and with Triangle you send anouter wave out.<br><br><br>I use a similar Build for the story and it works quite well.

  Also get the Gloves from Muskan which feature a Abyssal gem for unarmed which deals aoe damage around you and the gloves are lightning affinity xD (and tbh the &quot;main story&quot; is just the tutorial) :D the game really starts after that.

  You got several different inputs for unarmed combat, standard R1 and R2 for light and heavy, then Triangle for basic hand combat, then if you hold R2 for bow aim and press Triangle you get access to Kilffs leg movesets which have as much depth as standard Triangle attacks! Then R3 force palm attacks and all the grapple movesets as well!! There is a full build here for a pure hand combat with elements it is so good!

  I&apos;ve been doing mostly grappling/melee just because it&apos;s fun, but so far it&apos;s not good for bossing. I&apos;ll try some of your ideas. Also you can do the crouch attacks off of a running slide. So like the double leg take-down etc, off of triangle, or leg sweep off of circle. but leg sweep so much less reliable. If you get behind them you can turn a lot of your grapple throws into suplexes instead.
