  ive spent the whole video trying to figure out how lindsay lohan played in this AND mean girls within the same time frame. she seems YEARS younger in this movie.

  Shoutout to my gay older brother for watching this movie on a loop when it came out, causing 9 year old me (hetero dude) to have seen this movie countless times. I always secretly liked it, almost as a guilty pleasure, though younger me would've never admitted to that. In hindsight, I think the surrealism left an impression on me, and I found the over-the-top dramatic dialogue confounding and unique. It's a fun movie that honestly showed me and my brother that it's okay to be you, and we needed that as kids.

  ok but it’s crazy that some like 30 something year old rock singer came to a teenage kid’s high school drama class cast party and danced with a 16 year old and told her that he got sober for her right? like that’s beginning-of-a-very-sad-story type shit. it’s giving priscilla presley.

  i was a freak about this movie growing up and i was always OBSESSED with her first day of school outfit, orange bike included. lola is so iconic it stresses me out

  as a teenager this was my comfort movie as a fangirl i&apos;ve been my entire life i rewatched it last year and to my surprise it still is comforting to watch but in a slightly different way now that i&apos;m an adult woman

  I love this movie. It has always stuck with me since I first saw it as 13 or whatever. Anyway, Ella&apos;s anxiety has always been my favorite part of this movie. The accuracy of pairing up a neurotic hypochondriac and someone super confident but heartfelt (and they are both dramatic) speaks so true to life.

  This movie achieved to show the teenage dread of growing up and finding your place in the world without having to dive in horrible trauma. <br>I love the characters and agree with you that customes are ✨️FLAWLESS✨️<br>It is such a fun movie
