  The CEO of MGA was Persian. His daughter, Jasmin (now the creative director of Bratz) was the one who thought Bratz were cute when she saw the pitch at 11, so he invested in them. And they renamed Lupe to Yasmin (the Farsi version of her name) in her honour. So technically Yasmin became Middle Eastern but the girls are racially ambiguous on purpose only being “confirmed” if they use them to celebrate specific cultural holidays.

  Omg I love you Jordy. Also, I would absolutely love if you covered Bratz Passion 4 Fashion Diamondz next - it’s an insane movie and I guess hated by the fandom, but it was my fave as a kid 😂 I think you would love the surrealism in the film
