Rare for one man to create so many iconic songs that transcend decades.

If I were in a band with a guy writing hit after hit, I'd pretty much do everything in my power to make sure that guy was happy and stress-free.

This interview is about 9 years old. When i see John now he seems happy with his life now. He's making music with his kids, owns his CCR music. He doesn't really talk about the past. He's just living his life.

Even though the band didn't last that long, is incredible how many good songs they managed to squeeze out during that short amount of time. Legendary songs, that are now a part of pop cultural history.

25 years old and can easily say CCR is one of the greatest bands to do it in all of human history, their music is timeless and will undoubtedly be enjoyed for generations.

Their extended version of Heard it through the grapevine" is the best version, hands down.

Miraculously John got the rights to all the music he wrote that was stolen by Saul Zanz.He is finally being compensated for everything he wrote as it should have been from the start. He happily is preforming with his kids now and loving life. Good for you John Fogarty -you deserve it !

I was really surprised that John made a comeback in the mid 80’s with Centerfield. It was such a fantastic album.
