  Gary you’re a top man thanks for going up to Gordon Street Chippy and supporting this awesome local gem, and I have to say thanks so much for the shoutout - as always you’re the only one to do this across all the platforms in the food space, goes to show you’re supporting creators who are trying to make their way on youtube as well as independent businesses. Incredibly grateful thank you 💙 (big up the chippy tour too, lovely bloke and does so much for the fish & chip industry)

  I'm so glad you said it is "inexpensive". Saying it's cheap is essentially saying the same thing, but cheap to me means of lesser quality, which this is clearly not.

  I lived on the new estate at the back of John's chippy till last year, the most genuine nice bloke ever! Even the kids now ask for a chippy John! Great guy and everything he gets he deserves!

  I used to own a chippy and I tell my staff to wet a kitchen paper or a small bit of sponge to wet their fingers.

  I can remember when a lot of chippies were just like this. If you've every wondered why even tiny villages had fish and chip shops, well fish and chips were never rationed during WW2 so everyone wanted access to a chippie.
