  One could easily suggest this is a &quot;guitar driven&quot; song...... That said the DRUMMER was killing it.

  This is one of the best live performances, ever. Mark Knopfler is one of the best guitarists in the world. Terry Williams, was on fire with his drumming. Supposedly, his father was in the audience, seeing him in concert with Dire Straits for the first time. You can see Mark look at him and smile when he realizes this isn&apos;t a regular performance. Mark wrote this about a jazz band named The Sultans of Swing, he saw in an almost empty club in London.

  Mark Knopfler. What is there left to say? Effortless control. Unbelievable runs. Terry Williams&apos; drumming can only be described as transcendent. This performance was a moment of absolute singularity in the past 50 years.

  Mark walked into a bar to escape the rain and saw this band playing. Everything in the song happened. &nbsp;Money For Nothing was based on an overheard conversation. &nbsp;Sometimes the best inspiration comes from real life.
