Labeling reading in public as performative was definitely a psyop.

I'm not even a native English speaker and I physically cringe at those reading attempts...

I hate how everyone thinks that reading is more of a chore than a form of enjoyment. It's really sad how much our society is adapting to social media and other as main forms of entertainment.

Not knowing modern pop culture may be a blessing these days.  This is really sad.

It’s so sad to see people lose the ability to read. There are so many beautiful stories that will be lost if people can’t read.

I am 15 and I thank God that I learned how to write in cursive and read at kindergarten. I have been taught well and I am quite thankful for the knowledge that I have aquired.

I think there's a correlation between over half of our population reading at a 3rd grade level and electing a president who speaks at that same level.

As I said once, and many agree with me. 'Old or new, don't care much for celebs, don't know 'em, don't care for em."

it's sad to think that out there is a third world country scaring their kids with "don't make me send you to University in America"!
