Hurricane Polo MASSIVE WAVES Flood Southern California?! - RED State Of Emergency!

On Monday, September 28, 2026, the swell from Hurricane Polo reached Southern California, and federal tide gauges from San Diego to Santa Monica measured the ocean about one foot higher than predicted. San Diego's gauge read 7.48 feet against a prediction of 6.46. Los Angeles read 7.03 feet against 6.15 and stayed above 7 feet for 48 minutes. As of Monday night no flooded homes had been reported. This video explains why that is less reassuring than it sounds: the swell is the smaller of two this month, the extra foot was forecast as an effect of El Niño, and Tuesday's tide is predicted to be higher.
