Trash video. I did the self improvement thing and all my life(money relationships and everything) improved. Don't slam self improvement when clearly you couldn't or wouldn't doit seriously

If what you are doing for "self-improvement" doesn't make you uncomfortable, it's not self-improvement.

This is the reason why I only follow David Goggins, because he says in order to grow you don't need to watch videos, go to conferences, buy courses, listen audiobooks, etcetera.
He always says you need to turn off every device you have and face your own demons, embrace the pain and take action.
I agree with him because there's a point where you develop addiction to "self improvement" content and consume hours and hours of that thing but you're just coping, not growing.

since I had started chasing pain rather than hapiness and success I started to make real progress

Why is everyone saying Clara Hartley’s anxiety quiz “called them out” without explaining what it actually said? You can’t all leave comments like that and expect the rest of us not to become curious. Someone needs to explain what kind of results this quiz gives.

I'm 30 and I have worked every year since I turned 18 to change and kill the inner child in me and It has taken years to overcome abuse, homelessness, grief from the lost of the people I cared about the most, I have had a really fucked up life and ever since the day I turned 18 I been trying so hard to kill the other part of me and completely change my outlook on life because I really wanted to watch the world burn and I really hated people and I was cynical. I had built up years, decades of anger and I needed something to help me be the person I wanted to be. But non of that can change unless i try to go at it one step at a time. Like you said I thought i could "fix" myself or "get rid of the other side of me" in just a few weeks, months or years but it has taken me more then 10 years and I have change but very slowly, it's hard to adapt new ideas, completely change the people that are around you and not let their negative thinking affect you, and the one that killed me the most. The fucking loneliness you feel just spending hours and years alone trying to figuere shit out for yourself and completely breaking down the other part of yourself to start completely new and just begin to actually change who you are to begin today being the person you truly want to be. It hurts, it's not pretty and I really hate myself everyday even more if i don't give it my all. Just don't forget that life is supposed to be fun and not a curse or a jail sentence, we sometimes trap ourselves inside our heads or get so caught up with things that we tend to forget why we are even here in the first place.

If meditating, training and reading books for a couple of months would be enough to make you a high value man, than everyone would have become high value man by now
