Never messed with an ouija board but the standard rule I’ve been told - if you decide to open that door you better say goodbye and close it. Leaving it open let’s anything in.

Fun fact: earlier in the movie, in the Warren's house, there are two instances where Valak's name is shown along with Lorraine writing it in her Bible. The first time is when they are eating breakfast and you can see it spelled out with Judy's blocks and then the second time is on the bookcase when the nun appears to Judy. You notice it in rewatches but such a cool background detail. Love these reactions!!! ❤❤

I really loved Rizzo's bit at the end about the historical Warrens. These films do go a long way to make Ed & Lorraine seem much more noble and romanticize their lives more than they were in real life, which definitely does create a bit of tension in making films based on their real cases. A movie that is more accurate to the real case probably wouldn't be as cinematic as these films ended up being.
