  Has anyone ever figured out how JD got a Yale law degree in two years? The logistics of getting all the classes he needed in two years is highly suspect.

  One reason I’ll never be vice president is because I’m totally unwilling to degrade and prostitute myself to assimilate to the elites like that. <br><br>When I was small, my grandmother asked me to set the table. I told her I would &nbsp;be happy to but I had no idea what the configuration of utensils and plates and things was supposed to be. <br><br>That frustrated her because I guess I was just supposed to know, and she told me I’d better learn because I’d have to know someday. <br><br>No I won’t. Who cares? I do not and I will not. <br><br>So then, in college, my best friend and future ex-wife won some prestigious mass-comm award, and there was a fancy ceremony, complete with, you know, twig salad with exotic mushrooms and berries, and a side of cold soup, or whatever. <br><br>The day of the ceremony, I met her at class and she told me about it coming up in a few minutes, but said she couldn’t go because she wasn’t dressed for it. <br><br>I was like, you earned this! Let them award you as you are. <br><br>So she and I went to the ceremony - me in t shirt and khaki shorts with my socks not matching (they never do) and her in cut off jean shorts and a Dead Kennedys t-shirt. People looked at us funny. Who cares?<br><br>They served us just the same and they called her up for her award and she went and accepted it, and if any of them had a problem with us as we were, that was their business. She cited that event as one reason she wanted to marry me, because she’d never felt so free before. <br><br>Screw elitism - cultural or otherwise.
