Anyone else sad that these awesome places are abandoned, meanwhile I live in an overpriced box that barely qualifies as livable...

This house has a calm and welcoming feel to it. The surrounding property is so scenic. Anyone else notice this?

Houses like this being demolished for some crap development makes my blood boil.

This is why noone can afford a house anymore.  When I was coming up in the 70's & 80's these older homes were affordable. But now we have BIG Corporation buying the houses if it has land, just to redevelop. They can always outbid an average person.

When these homes are built nicely, they are timeless.  I could move in tomorrow, even with the red carpet.

It reminds me of going to my grandmas house in the country. The porch is everything

This house is NOT from the 60s.  More like the early 50s or even the late 40s.  There is SO here that can be salvaged.  This house should be DECONSTRUCTED, not demolished

I absolutely love built-in shelving in houses. When you went up the stairs, and I saw the built-ins, I just smiled and smiled. That would be a perfect little reading nook. So cozy... with a window. I don't know if a chair would fit in there, but I would have made that my cozy reading nook area!!

This house is an old money house …..well built but not ostentatious  probably started as a very small house then had extensions built as family grew … great videos

My house is an old home that my husband and I fixed up. It was a labor of love that we take great pride in now. Hopefully, the same will become of this house. These old homes are built so much better than what's built today.

This is the 4th abandoned home I have watched today. Makes me very sad as I love architecture & thes3 Homes still have a lot of life left.
