I was afraid this wouldn't be as good as the first but Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum proved me wrong. This movie was hilarious!

that coach walters prison scene and the scene where the captain found out that schmidt was dating his daughter are classic 😂

The lobster scene is a reference/recreation of the lobster scene in the movie Annie Hall, and wasn't in the first one, it's just another meta joke about the duo's quasi-romantic relationship.

The parents day scene is my favourite scene in this movie. Just Ice Cubes reaction seeing Schmidt always gets me

I'm actually now realizing at around 6:29 the Doritos isn't product placement it's Easter Egg/foreshadowing for what's coming immediately after... the "shot him in the dick" was the "obvious" reference but remember that Coach was the supplier and he was eating Cool Ranch Doritos when we met him the 1st film, and the drug tasted like cool ranch(which was also the hint in the 1st film at coach being the supplier we heard 1st the drug taste like cool ranch then immediately after they run into him eating cool ranch Doritos.)

The scene where he realizes he slept with the captain’s daughter kills me! “Schmitt fugged the captain’s daaaaaughter , and you gave him dabs for it!!!!” 😂😂

This movie has one of the best end credits, let's be real. Was hype af and fun as hell.

The Cate Blanchett/Carte Blanche line was a meta reference to How To Train Your Dragon 2 that features the actress and Jonah Hill, and it came out in theatres the same day as 22 Jump Street.
