  Depends on the year for weather; Vancouver had a colder than normal winter this year with a fair amount of snow and a lot of rain. Toronto had a milder than normal winter.

  As a person who spends most of free time on ski, mtb, hiking and rock climbing. Vancouver vs Toronto to me is like, Vancouver wins because of mountains, mountains, and still the frking mountains, living in Vancouver is like working in my vacation destination, the moment I finish work my vacation start right away, lol. Before Vancouver I lived in Toronto for 10 years, I did actually take vacation to go to Vancouver several times during the 10 years.

  you need to simply be sociable out and about.....there are millions of people among us everywhere, and people often are shy and closed off...life is short, ya'll need to spread your wings and reach out to random folks with curiosity and wonder

  I agree to everything mentioned here. Have been in Van for 4 years and never been disappointed. And the things that are holding me back from moving to TO/ON are the nature and active lifestyle here in Van. <br><br>I totally agree that once you finish school and move out from a city, its hard to make new friends. You need to go out and mingle.

  Just got back from Vancouver, loved it there... but definitely not the same big city vibe as Toronto<br>Great video!
