The Biblical search for the Leviathan. Infinitely more hard than Final Fantasy's search for the Leviathan.

The 7 head serpent sounds exactly like the Nagas of ancient India.  There are many ancient temple’s with statue’s of them to this day.

My father was a sailor...at sea for long periods of time, he said to me once in passing,  that there are things out far at sea which, even now, are inexplicable.  And he never said what, which was strange, because I was brought up on seafaring tales. But never those.

Bohu is the Hebrew word for 'wasteland' and I think it's because it belongs to the Behemoth, who 'drinks up rivers' leaving behind dry riverbeds that are today called Wadi(s).  You might recognize Bohu from Gen 1:2 as well.

Leviathan is literally Godzilla, eons before Japan and Hollywood were ever created...

Yes but remember, God did not declare the waters good. It was not until he said let there be light, that it was declared good. It's entirely possible that the spirit was taming the waters as he was hovering over them

I’ve think Job was written as those animals being described to Job, not Job or the author experiencing it themself. Considering mosasaur and plesiosaur weren’t discovered as fossils until much more recently in history, I find it much more compelling that the description was from God to Job, since he couldn’t have possibly experienced it.

This topic will never get old for me. Leviathan and creation by combat. Trevan Hatch connected some of these dots to David and Goliath
