  Hi, I&apos;m the translator. The reason why the title wasn&apos;t translated literally was not me being &quot;creative&quot; or anything. It was because of a secret item in the game, the record with the in-game soundtrack, which had &quot;Lord of Nightmare&quot; (sic) written on it in English in the Japanese version. Actually, there was quite a bit of other dummied English text as well. But clearly, the developers had the phrase &quot;Lord of Nightmares&quot; in mind.<br><br>Originally, I was planning to translate it as &quot;The Master of Slumber&quot; until I saw &quot;Lord of Nightmare&quot; in the game, and I wanted to be closer to the developers&apos; intent. So I hope people don&apos;t get the wrong idea. I wasn&apos;t trying to &quot;improve&quot; upon the title.

  A little girl orphaned from time on an airship and a girl in a haunted mansion inseparable from her faithful pet dog? Fascinating! Someone should expand on those ideas.

  if I woke up as a spirit, I think id also have the urge to take care of my pets. The ghost boy section is kinda touching.

  The graphical style of these old PSX era games is so nice. I am glad we&apos;re seeing indie games being made in this style now.

  I think part of the reason the first game&apos;s setting works so well is also because you&apos;re on an ocean liner; if Richard wants off, good luck getting to land or finding help. &nbsp;Ocean horror is a great setting and not done as often as spoopy mansions, which are always good, but I agree with you. &nbsp;The setting of the last game was better. &nbsp;<br><br>Bless fanslations and the dedicated people behind them, especially when they go for making it seem like an entry in the series rather than a direct translation. &nbsp;Loved hearing about this one!<br><br>It seems almost like this game is a soft reboot of the series, with Richard <br>🤔 &nbsp;But I&apos;d have to see with 3; if we have a new protag, if it&apos;s a continuation, etc. &nbsp;Regardless, you did an amazing job! &nbsp;<br><br>I&apos;m wracking my brain for summer streets in Yokohama, but coming up with nothing for now. &nbsp;Excited to see what&apos;s next!

  i believe the mummy is supposed to be one of the ancient people albert spoke of, the ones who built the tower. her sarcophagus even has the ancient script on it

  They went back to Armored Core, hopefully, just hopefully Miyazaki and the big wigs at FromSoft realize that their older experimental non-Souls games still have potential.
