  I keep forgetting how small this channel is, relative to Mandalore, civvie, Game Dungeon, etc. This is arguably the most binge-worthy game review channel with some of the most relatable and meta commentary.

  It's a shame Square stopped being so experimental after the PS1 era because they were killing it. Parasite Eve, Brave Fencer, Chrono Cross, Saga Frontier, Front Mission, what a time to be kid.

  You’re right about Christmas Eve - in the novel, the character whose mitochondria runs amok was born on 12/24, so when her husband propagates her liver cells after her death, he names the sample Eve 1 as a cheeky little deranged mad scientist pun

  Really took me back to a time when you could walk into an Electronics Boutique in a dying mall, pay ten dollars, and take home a smudged up jewel case containing a game to play while you ate cereal.

  i just want to say thank you for presenting this game in its native resolution, and not hideously upscaled like literally everyone else does with ps1 games
