  Charles Dance was an absolute perfect actor to play Moubtbatten. He even had some resemblance to him.

  Mountbatten's advice to Charles about relationships was a disaster and caused the three of us in this marriage so It was a bit crowded

  The late Queen issed a Declaraton in Council shortly after ascending the throne that the Royal House would be known henceforth as the House of Windsor. That was strictly not necessary until the present King ascended. Without that declaration the late Queen would have been the last of the House of Windsor. Although &nbsp;it did clear up an ambiguity in the 1917 Declaration of King George V which mentions only &nbsp;male heirs. It was a very similar situation when Queen Victoria came to the throne as she was the last of the House of Hanover. Her son, when he ascended as King Edward VII was the first member of the House of Saxe-Coburg &amp; Gotha, taking his father&apos;s House name. As far as Mountbatten is concerned, enough said as regards his general incompetence to command and organise both in the Royal &nbsp;Navy and in India and then, even darker, his sexual proclivities.

  They feared him because he knew who the real queen was. And they wanted him dead. So that you, or anyone else would find out the truth.
