Coming down the North Shore, over Lynn, past Nahant, over Revere and the place where I grew up, Winthrop, Massachusetts, just on the left before touchdown. A nice aerial tour of my youthful stomping grounds.

Love the A340s!! I live around Boston and alway go airplane spotting near the airport its really awesome to see these still flying around specially to Boston. Nice weather nice landing thank you for sharing this unique video!

Very cool. That approach goes right over my home airport KBVY. It's always cool to see the big boys lined up overhead when I'm tooling around in a Cessna! ๐

When you're sitting on Revere Beach, the big sweeping beach before Winthrop before the runway, you see planes almost constantly coming in to the 22. You can see how low they are. It's quite a plane-watching spot. The best is the other side (4R or 33). Those runways go RIGHT up to the water. I used to park my boat right at the end of 33 (well, slightly to one side, heh) and it seemed like the wheels were going to clip my radio antenna. So cool. After 9/11 they stopped letting you do that.

Very nice. I frequently head out to Logan and the area to plane spot. I miss seeing the 747s Lufthansa used to fly into BOS.

it's funny how small the area is, finally can see the land over Beverly MA, Salem , Marblebhead, Swampscott and Lynn, then over the Nahant to left and Revere Beach to the right, Winthrop and finally East Boston.. Funny is that what took you about 3 minutes with the A340 in the air takes me about 1h on Electric Unicycle with mild traffic.. though I can't go straight hahaha
