  Another interesting detail: The Woman in Profile&apos;s first appearance was in 1961, the same year that Yuri Gagarin was the first man to orbit the earth. It&apos;s already been established in the series that space is &quot;their&quot; domain, so it seems like this is implying that when we invaded (for lack of a better term) &quot;their&quot; domain, &quot;they&quot; retaliated and began to invade ours.<br><br><b>edit</b><br><br>Yuri Gagarin orbited the Earth for the first time on April 12, 1961. The Woman in Profile&apos;s first recorded sighting was June 13, 1961. There&apos;s definitely something there, and I can&apos;t wait to see how much further Kris Straub takes this story.

  I don&apos;t know if it would count as a Film Theory, but if you&apos;re digging up old theories, I would love to see the completed Petscop theory. Matpat promised a final episode years ago and never completed it. I think new videos have been added since then, too.

  I&apos;m so happy that Local 58 is back, not because it was the original first Analog Horror before Mandela Catalogue, but also because it&apos;s been years since hear of that series.

  I just wanna say this cuz I am a nerd, but in Greek mythology an Eidolon is a ghost who can take humans as their host and control them (leaving the human soul in the body to just kinda watch their boy do horrible things). The more you know. Plus yall at the Theory channels seem to like Greek myths so I sent this to you :)

  I think the distinction between &quot;Alien Horror&quot; and &quot;Cosmic/Lovecraftian Horror&quot; is what is supposed to be scaring you. With aliens, it&apos;s the aliens themselves that are meant to be frighting. With cosmic horror, while it can have aliens, the fear is more focused on the unknown and/or the insignificance of man kind in the infinite universe.

  You don&apos;t need to speculate about whether the Hirsch Camera is part of the Local 58 universe, in the video Digital Transition, it&apos;s explicitly referenced at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ustpmxYYu2A&amp;t=94">1:34</a> during the clip about Local 58&apos;s history. Perhaps Local 58 still uses that technology for their color footage! That clip also mentions the mine disaster, so it&apos;s probably also something to investigate further.

  Regarding the mothman, it&apos;s notable that moths specifically use the light of the moon to navigate, which is why they get so confused around artificial lights at night. Moreover, what if certain types of reflections are the key to the interdimensional sightings? Cameras use reflection, and &apos;moonlight&apos; is reflected sunlight. Maybe moon dust was used as a unique material on that camera?
