Sometimes they die on the table. But you've saved far more than 98% of us in the hobby!

It's a cheesy quote in some cases. "For those who come after" -Claire Obscure.

My dad used to work for a TV tube company and I try to show him your work. (We also have a Mrs. Pacman cocktail with a sketchy red he fixed, been working on an arcade 1up lcd myself!)

Thank you, your are the only one showing how to repair neck pins (i'm still to try to repair mine)...
But these pins give me such fright since i broke them. I'm now extremely cautious when removing a neck board. I do it super slowly, using a tool to move it millimeter by millimeter and a contact lubricating spray for putting them back on.

For the next screen you want probably to create an extension so you don't connect directly to the screen, and so you can repair or replace the extension when it broke.

I wonder would you of had more success with a lower melting temp solder. Good content none the less 👍

so I would love to learn how to regun the tube Mike ive actually came up with a idea how save that tube because you need high pressure vacuum it's not new but its called iona pump theres alot to this Mike this just theory so ceramic glass jar , the size of a two liter coke bottle h-vac system for the vacuum and flyback transformer into the ceramic two liter glass , and then you have a little port where it's the circle where the gatter goes where you connect the 2 litter coke bottle and what its doing is charging the air molecules so you can magnetizes it I haven't worked it all out because this just theory this more dangerous , but cheaper than twenty grand for revacuum pumps with they old tech there's also glass blowing like combining glass lathing together thats another subject
