We take our college and high school marching bands seriously here in the US. But, Ohio State is a whole different level.

I went to Ohio State. These kids bust their butts. All day classes and 4 hours of practice after that. There is a reason the are referred to as The Best Damn Band in the Land!

I love how the T-Rex ate the U of Michigan guy and that the OSU pirate ship sank the U of Michigan ship. Such a fun way to throw shade at your rivals!

Many people in the United States prefer college football to the NFL. The tradition, pageantry and the passion is a big reason why.

I'm from Michigan, but I'll give Ohio State's marching band the props they deserve -- best glidestep marching band anywhere!

They weren't actually playing Michigan but they always use Michigan as the enemy because they are Ohio State's biggest rival.

College football would not be the same without the Marching bands, traditions, pageantry, and rivalries. It’s what sets it apart from the NFL.

My two youngest children were in TBDBITL (The Best Damn Band In The Land) they were two years apart, so we were proud band parents for a total of 7 years! It is grueling work and they get no scholarships or tuition aid at all. Parents and family get no free or discounted tickets. Both were in J-I Row (percussion) so they were first on the field. I cannot describe the pride we had watching them!
