  So Hugo Weaving, who played V, filmed this fresh off of portraying Agent Smith in the Matrix franchise, and Elrond in the Lord of the Rings franchise. He had himself quite the streak of unforgettable characters

  Fun fact: The Secret Police are called &quot;Fingermen&quot;, because the New Order was arranged on the model of the human body. The Chancellor was the Head; the television station BTN was the mouth; visual and audio surveillance were the Eyes and the Ears; Inspector Finch was part of The Nose, the Police force, and Creedy&apos;s Secret Police were the Hand.

  Year after year this movie just gets more and more relevant. I still often think about the domino scene and how a single thing can break the camel&apos;s back and the people finally had enough

  Hugo Weaving was the first actor I found that made me realize how much actors can emote with a mask on. You don&apos;t have to see his face to feel the character. Hands down in my top five favorite actors.

  Fun fact: The domino scene, where V tips over black and red dominoes to form a giant letter V, involved 22,000 dominoes. It took four professional domino assemblers 200 hours to set it up.

  The Guy Fawkes mask was designed for the original comic, but it’s basically just a variation on other Guy Fawkes designs that have been around since the 1600’s. Turns out when you try to blow up seats of government power people tend to remember you for hundreds of years afterward.
