  The decision to go from fully open world to smaller HUB levels was a stroke of brilliance. It allows a lot more interactivity and detail than one big mostly empty map would've. Hope they continue with the HUB levels for Dead Island 3.

  While Sam B admittedly has limited plot relevance, he is responsible for the best joke in the game. It is insanely funny that he goes around getting bit up constantly under the assumption he'll be totally fine since he was immune in Dead Island 1 without ever once considering that maybe this is a new virus strain.

  as a Californian who has visited the locations depicted in this game many times, i gotta say they really nailed it. it really helps the immersion factor when theres zombies on streets youve walked down dozens of times.

  Played Dead Island 1 with a few friends. We realized fairly early that our characters cant move through eachother and that turned our playthrough into a comedy set.<br><br> I once blocked one of my homies in a room for 15 minutes and left a whole story quest to my other friend, and we continued fucking with eachother by body blocking or shooting explosives when someone is next to them. Had us crying laughing at some points

  Funny detail, Homefront the Revolution went though almost the same problems that Dead Island had. <br>Meaning that the only thing that Damnbuster Studio has ever done was saving what it left of a game in development hell two times in a row

  Fun fact LA does have a pretty robust metro system! The depiction in the game is probably based on the red&amp;purple line, which go through Hollywood and past it.<br><br>This is of course entirely useless because no one in their right mind would go to Hollywood! Hope this helps :)
