Third time for me since 1999/2001 Spanish language immersion schools in San Pedro. I’ve travelled widely and am in Tamarindo now. Costa Rica is my favorite country in the world to visit/stay. The most incredible, beautiful and friendly people live here and yes it’s changed, but it’s still very safe and well worth the visit. Oh and yes, it can be expensive now. Staying in smaller areas and buying groceries really helps.

Eine richtig gute Auswahl! Corcovado wäre bei uns definitiv ganz weit oben. Wir waren 3,5 Wochen mit unseren beiden Teenagern in Costa Rica und gerade die Osa-Halbinsel war für uns eines der größten Highlights der gesamten Reise. Aber auch Sarapiquí und einige weniger bekannte Orte haben uns überrascht. Das Problem mit Costa Rica: Nach der ersten Reise ist die Liste der Orte, die man noch sehen möchte, eher länger als vorher. 😂🇨🇷

I really liked Montezuma . It's a bit of a yoga town with nice beaches and a really nice 3 tier waterfall with swimming holes (little bit of a sketched access hike/climb but if you're able-bodied , it's totally worth it).

Very informative video. I watched it a couple of months before going to costa rica & it really helped. Been to San Jose, Tortuguero, Lafortuna, Monteverde, Jaco, Manuel Antonio & my favorites were definitely Lafortuna, Monteverde & Tortuguero. I’ve been back for 2 months now & 1 still dream about going back. Costa Rica is not a place it’s a strong emotion, a feeling. The most incredible, out of this world, fulfilling experience of my life. I’ve never been this happier in my life & it put things in perspective quite alot

as Costa Rican, you always talk so wonderful thing about us and the nature. We are really proud of our biodiversity, Manuel Antonio is my favorite National Park and I go there at least twice a year, during the dry season and then on the rainy season. <br><br>My girlfriend and I love your and Carrie’s videos. Hopefully you can visit soon. Please go to Bajos del Toro, there you can find so many waterfalls and also visit La Cruz in Guanacaste, the beaches there and nature is quite special too!
