  i think the biggest optimization the category is missing is in solving the cubes one handed. strong OH solvers are pretty consistently sub 15 seconds, meaning you can solve the entire cube shorter than the length of a cig, while still maintaining optimal cig technique. i also think there's room to explore bottle technique for the beers. i've seen people create a vortex in the bottle and drink it almost vertically, allowing perfect neck alignment for the optimal chug.

  Cigarette brand must be standardized, otherwise the whole aspect is flawed. Not all cig brands burn at the same rate, are the same length or use the same density of filters. For example, I smoke American Spirits and they&apos;re known for a variety of different filter density and length of burn. Sure you could suck them down quick a few beers in, but a Marlboro or a Winston would go to the butt faster no matter how fast you went at the Spirits. The pack should also be brand new so as not to allow any brand swaps.<br>Then there&apos;s types of lighters. In the original a torch was used, while in another I saw a standard bic. In the standard bic run, it cost precious time to get the flame whilst with a torch, the ciggies is good as lit on the first click.

  It has been brough to my attention that the beers drunk in the runs are 12oz cans, not 1 pint cans, this is largely a cultural thing, as British people drink in pints, but it changes the end slide, to make it possible to do a sub 1 minute
