  Becky, you don’t have to let the marinade go to waste when you grill. Just pour it into a saucepan, bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer until the marinade thickens. Depending what’s in it you may need to strain it. The result is usually a concentrated, flavorful sauce to pour over the grilled meat.

  On St. Patrick’s Day I’ll be 78!  Since my parents both lived to 95 and had six to eight rows of veggies each summer, I have not thought of myself as being “over-the-hill” old...yet!  So, as usual, I’m planning on planting a few tomatoes and a couple bell pepper plants this spring/summer!   I’ve been doing this each year, as I really enjoy them!  To you in your early 60s, forget about your age!  You are still young, so plant and harvest!  Enjoy!

  Tip! With the German pancakes, if you put them in the oven while it’s still cold the middle will puff up too💕

  At 53, i didn’t think you could teach me new tricks, but I can’t tell you how much you have inspired me. You and your little family are such a ray of sunshine!  The first thing I do in the morning is grab a cup of coffee and search to see if you have anything new for me to watch. I wish I seen your drive and determination in more of todays youth. Congratulations on your sweet boy and your channel. I look forward to spending time with you every day! 😊

  Becky, you should also try making compound butters with whole fruit in it. You simply let the butter soften to room temp, stir in fruit, shape in waxed paper or plastic wrap, wrap in foil, and freeze. It is really good on oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, etc.
