  I was in Iraq in 2006-2007, and even as a soldier occupying their country, the Iraqi people were always very friendly and generous. They truly represent the best of humanity. I am very angry, looking back at what our government leaders did to them and their country. We in the US owe the Iraqi people (and many others) a massive debt that can never be repaid.

  &quot;quietly disappeared from the headlines&quot; as an Iraqi it made smile a little bit.<br>Sadly the region we&apos;re in, is just doomed to have infinite conflicts, so even if we work hard for the peace of our own land, the spillovers will come and make things worse <br>I hope the war in the region ends soon and the consequences just come to be minimal.
