  Syrian Orthodox Church we have in India since ages. So, those who read bible would know 😅in Damascus, Paul had encountered Jesus and turned form Saul ( a killer of those who followed Christ) to Paul ( preaching Christ and writing half of New Testament

  Yes, over time I have become increasingly impressed by, even emotional over, what this channel does. The human and geographical, the historic and culinary connections you keep showing us are the ideal and healing antidote to many of the griefs and sorrows that our globe has not yet outgrown. I don't know how to express my admiration for the brave, delicate, compassionate, intelligent way that you and Flo and all your friends conduct yourselves on your remarkable travels.   Yan has always shown a knack for connecting with little people and respectfully showing how folks live and approach their reality, always done with a warm, nonjudgmental, peaceful spirit and a smile. Every episode, and I've watched them all at least once, educates me and helps me feel the humanity and today's was very touching. This is a special channel, for sure.

  I saw Rami before, in another video in Syria. He&apos;s getting famous this way haha. He&apos;s a great guide.<br>Great video, Yan &amp; Flo. Loved it.<br><br>As early as around 9000-7000 BC, the first settlements with permanent houses, agriculture, and livestock farming existed in the region of Syria and West Asia. <br>Cities such as Damascus and Aleppo are among the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. While writing, complex trade, and organized religion already existed in the Middle East. <br>The inhabitants of the Netherlands (my country) were still largely hunter-gatherers.<br>Even 4000 years later we were still behind on the cultures in West Asia. We. Europeans, didn&apos;t &apos;&apos;invent the world&apos;&apos;.<br>Just saying. This world could thrive on mutual respect, honest trade, diplomacy (the real one. Bombs are not diplomacy), sharing knowledge etc.<br>Ohwell, maybe one day.<br>Enough of me.

  Yan! What a wonderful video! Obviously Anatolia and mostly North of Syria were MOST important Christian place at the very beginning. Amazing to see/hear the aramic language!!! Hope/wish Syrian population will finally find peace in living🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹
